Tim Burnett

President

 

Tim Burnett is the founder and President of DMZ Solutions. He has been proudly serving clients in this capacity for over 10 years. A Jacksonville native, he has more than 30 years of Information Technology experience.

Prior to founding DMZ Solutions, Tim managed digital security and infrastructure at various financial institutions. Tim served as Infrastructure Manager at VyStar Credit Union for several years where he directed I.T. operations and created a security department. He also served as I.T. Director for The Energy Authority, an energy trading company, and Coelectric Partners, a power plant construction and maintenance coordinator. Tim managed the computing infrastructure and custom application development for both companies. He began his career as an Engineer and Project Manager in the Control Center of Gainesville Regional Utilities. In that capacity, he led several projects to create automated systems to manage the region’s power grid and supervised power restoration after storms.

Tim earned his degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Florida and specialized in digital design. He has proudly served the University of Florida since 1986 by providing game day communications for the Gator Football coaches and has been awarded three National Championship rings by the Athletic Director as a reward for his service.

 

Tonia Keller

Senior Systems Engineer

 

Tonia Keller has resided in Jacksonville, Florida since 2010 with over 12 years of IT experience. Specializing in troubleshooting and System Administration, Tonia has provided customer support in a large range of areas including Alabama, Texas, and Florida.

Tonia has been a systems engineer/ technician since 2002. In addition, she has extensive skills in Windows Server, Hosting, and client relationships. With over 9 years of management experience.

Tonia now manages DMZ’s helpdesk and servers. Since the start of her employment in 2012, Tonia has continued to apply her skills in management and technology to further the growth of DMZ Solutions.

 

 

Brandon Leger

Senior Software Engineer

 

Brandon Leger is a veteran of the United States Air Force and served with distinction on the ground in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2007.

Brandon came to DMZ from a 15 year background of software development with various government agencies including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Department of Defense, U.S. Central Command, and Defense Intelligence Agency.

Brandon brings a wealth of experience in Enterprise Development, User Experience Design, Distributed Applications, and Web Applications.

 

 

Megan Fontana

System Administrator  / Accounts Payable

 

Megan Fontana is a systems administrator at DMZ solutions where she specializes in system management, software testing, accounting, website design and marketing. Megan holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree.

Originally starting part time while working toward her degrees, Megan has been with DMZ Solutions since 2014 expanding her knowledge in IT and business management.

Outside of work Megan enjoys spending time with her two kids, dogs and raising her raccoon. 

 

Matthew Burnett

Lead IT Technician

 

Matthew Burnett is an IT Technician for DMZ Solutions where he specializes in hardware installation including camera systems, networking equipment, audio systems and on-site troubleshooting. Matthew has worked with big brands such as the Florida Gators and Orlando Apollos where he served as headset technician while gaining experience in the AV field.

Matthew helps small businesses troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure all systems are operational both for your clients and internal employees. In his spare time, Matthew is an outdoorsman where he spends his time gardening, wood working, metal working and hiking with his dog Serj.

 

 

 

 

Colton Hell

IT Technician

 

Colton Hell is a dedicated IT Technician with a passion for problem-solving and a penchant for hands-on work. With experience as a refurbish technician specializing in iPhone repairs and armed with a CompTIA A+ certificate under his belt, Colton is on the cusp of furthering his expertise with the CompTIA Network+ certification.

A natural tinkerer, he finds joy in disassembling and reassembling gadgets and has built his last two PCs from scratch. Colton's family has long relied on him as their go-to "fix it" person, a role he embraces with his exceptional communication skills, ensuring clients understand the problem, his solutions, and preventive measures for the future.

Beyond the tech world, Colton finds solace in working on his 2004 pickup truck, freshwater fishing and cheering for his football team, the Minnesota Vikings.
